EXPEDITION STEM VINYL DECAL APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
First, apply vinyl stickers only to clean, smooth surfaces. The cleaner the surface, the better your decal will adhere. Decals may be removed, but doing so will destroy the decal. Application to surfaces colder than 40°F is not recommended, unless the surface can be heated slightly with a hair dryer before application.
Before application, place the decal on a flat surface and remove the white backing sheet, leaving the decal attached to the clear ‘transfer’ sheet.
Decal can be applied directly by peeling off the release paper from the back , affix the decal, apply slight pressure to smooth and remove the transfer sheet. Use caution with this ‘dry method’ as, once the decal makes contact with the surface, it is stuck and you cannot re-position it. Smooth out the decal and eliminate wrinkles or air bubbles. A credit card works well as a ‘squeegee’ for this purpose.
Carefully peel of the clear transfer sheet. If an edge of the decal lifts from the surface, use the credit card to smooth it back down and wait a couple more minutes for further drying.
If adhering to a car, do not wash the car for at least three days after applying the decal, which will permit all of the application fluid to evaporate completely.
